Lead generation
Google Maps Lead Generator
Every local business is already on Google Maps, with its category, location and reputation on display. This turns that into a prospect list you can work — sorted so the best conversations come first.
Start from a niche and a place
The search you would run anyway is the search that builds the list.
“Roofers in Detroit”. “Dentists in Dallas”. “Landscapers in Miami”. Run it on Google Maps, then scan the results. For a whole metro rather than one view, Radius Scan sweeps outward from a point you pick; Auto Scan works through a list of cities one after another.
What comes back is not a data dump — it is every business in that market with the fields you need to decide whether it is worth a call.
Qualify before you dial
A list of 400 businesses is not 400 prospects. The point of scoring is to find the twenty worth starting with.
Signals captured per business
- Whether it has a website at all — and what it is built on
- Review count, average rating, and how long since the last one
- How many reviews the owner never replied to
- How complete the Google Business Profile is
- Photo count, opening hours, social presence
Scoring you control
Each signal is a rule you can turn on, off, or weight. A web designer might score “no website” heavily; a reputation consultant might care far more about unanswered reviews.
Leads come out marked Hot, Warm or Cold against thresholds you set — and changing the rules re-scores everything you have already collected, so you can re-cut an old list for a new campaign.
What a qualified lead looks like
An illustration, not real data — but every field shown is one the product actually captures.
Example Roofing Co.
Roofing contractor · Warren, MI
- Website
- None found
- Rating
- 4.6 from 23 reviews
- Last review
- Unanswered reviews
- 19
- Profile completeness
- 38%
- Pain Score
- 8 / 10
Well reviewed, so the work is good — but no website, a profile barely filled in, and nineteen reviews nobody answered. A business doing fine despite its marketing, not because of it. That is a conversation worth having.

Who this is for
Marketing agencies
Businesses with no website, a thin Google Business Profile, or months of unanswered reviews — the ones with a visible problem you sell the fix for.
Sales teams and SDRs
Territory coverage. Sweep a radius, work the list, and keep a shared duplicate list so two reps never call the same business.
Web designers and developers
Filter to businesses with no site at all, or one on a dated platform that has not been touched in years.
SEO consultants
Profile completeness and review-response behaviour surface owners who are already trying and would benefit from help.
The workflow end to end
Pick a market
One niche, one area. Narrow beats broad — a list you can actually finish is worth more than one you abandon.
Scan
Local Scan for what is on screen, Radius Scan for an area, Auto Scan across multiple cities.
Enrich
Adds owner names, public business emails, socials and hours where the business has published them.
Filter and prioritise
Sort by score, filter to Hot, and cut the list to the businesses whose problem you actually solve.
Export and work it
CSV, Excel, Sheets or JSON into your CRM or dialler. Track status and notes in the extension if you would rather not leave it.
Common questions
How is this different from buying a lead list?
A bought list is a snapshot someone else took, often months ago, sold to everyone who paid for it. This is generated live from what Google Maps shows right now, for the exact niche and area you chose — and it comes with the review and profile signals that tell you which businesses have a problem worth solving.
Will I get owner names and emails for everyone?
No. Enrichment finds what a business has published publicly, and many publish neither. Treat contact discovery as a bonus on top of the phone number and website, which are far more consistently available. The email scraper page goes into what to expect.
Can a team share one list?
Yes — export the duplicate list and import it on another machine, and the second person's scans skip businesses already collected. Leads themselves stay on each device.
How many leads can I generate?
500 a month on the free plan, capped at 50 a day. Paid plans raise both considerably — see GMapsScout pricing.
Can I cold-email the businesses I find?
That depends on your jurisdiction and theirs. B2B outreach rules differ sharply between the US, Canada, the UK and the EU, and having found an address publicly does not by itself make contacting it lawful. Check what applies to you before you send — we cannot advise on it.
