HVAC Company Email List
A current list of HVAC companies with emails, phone numbers, websites and owner names — built from Google Maps in your own browser, for the territory you choose, in minutes. Not a list we sell: a tool you use.
Who builds a list of HVAC companies
This page is for people who sell to this trade, not for people who need one.
HVAC contractors are sold to by equipment manufacturers and their distributors, by maintenance-agreement and financing providers, by field-service software, and by marketing agencies — HVAC is one of the highest-value local-service categories for paid advertising, so agencies compete for these accounts. A territory list of HVAC businesses with a contact name is the starting point for all of them.
The lists sold for this purpose go stale the month they are compiled — businesses open, close, move and change owners constantly. A list you build yourself from Google Maps is current to the day you ran it, costs nothing on the free plan, and covers exactly the territory you asked for. The rest of this page is how.
How many HVAC companies there are
111,207 employer HVAC companies in the United States, 77% of them with fewer than ten employees.
That national figure is from the U.S. Census Bureau's County Business Patterns, which counts every business with at least one paid employee by industry and county. The share under ten employees matters more than the total: those are the independents who make their own purchasing decisions, and they are the majority of this trade.
The Census groups plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors under one code, NAICS 238220. The count on this page and on the plumber page is the same figure and describes both trades together.
The seven largest metros, from the same source, densest first. The full breakdown with national comparisons is on the how many HVAC companies are in the US page.

What a Google Maps listing tells you about a HVAC company
The listing is a better prospecting signal than a purchased record, because it shows how the business presents itself right now.
HVAC is seasonal in a way a Google Maps listing makes visible. A well-run contractor gets reviews all year because it sells maintenance plans and does winter heating work. A contractor whose reviews cluster in July and August and go silent otherwise is living on emergency calls — busy when it is hot, idle when it is not, and with no off-season marketing. That pattern, readable from the review dates alone, is the strongest buying signal in the trade.
Filters that matter for hvac companies
These are the columns worth sorting a list of this trade by. Each one is captured by the extension and exported alongside the contact data.
Reviews clustered in summer
Sort by review date. A business with no reviews between October and May has no off-season and no marketing.
No website
Less common than in plumbing but still a clean signal; HVAC companies with no site are almost always small.
No owner reply to reviews
HVAC reviews are often complaints about a bill or a no-show. A business that never responds is not managing its reputation.
Under 25 reviews
HVAC jobs are large and infrequent, so review counts run lower than plumbing. Under 25 is small for this trade.
How to build the list
Four steps, in your browser, on the free plan.
Search Google Maps for "hvac" in your territory
Any city, any radius. The extension reads whatever the map is showing, so the territory is whatever you searched.
Run a scan
Local Scan takes the results on screen. Radius Scan sweeps an area around a point. Auto Scan works through a list of cities while you do something else.
Enrich the results
The extension visits each business's website and profile to find a public email, an owner name, social profiles, and the signals the filters above depend on.
Filter, then export
Sort by the filters that matter for hvac companies, keep the rows worth contacting, and export to CSV, Excel, Google Sheets or JSON.
What you get for each business
Every row is a business from the map, with the contact and profile fields the enrichment pass could find.
From the listing
Present for every business.
- Business name and category
- Address, city, state
- Phone number
- Website, or whether one exists
- Rating and review count
- Google Maps URL and Place ID
From enrichment
Best-effort. Depends on what the business has published.
- Public email address
- Owner or decision-maker name
- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other profiles
- Opening hours
- Website platform and whether it has a contact form
Derived
Computed to help you sort a long list.
- Days since the last review
- Unanswered review count
- Owner response rate
- Google Business Profile completeness
- Pain Score (0–10)
No tool can produce an email a business never published. Where enrichment looks and finds nothing, the export says so explicitly rather than leaving a blank — so a list of HVAC companies with a real email in every row is smaller than the full list, and that is the honest number.
