Managing Your Lead Pipeline Inside GMapsScout

GMapsScout includes a built-in lightweight CRM. Here's how to use statuses, notes, filters, and the Do Not Contact flag to run a clean outreach operation.

Scraping leads is only half the work. The other half is tracking where each lead is in your outreach sequence — without that, you'll double-contact the same businesses and lose track of warm conversations.

Lead statuses

Every lead can be tagged with a custom status. The defaults are:

  • New — just scraped, not yet contacted
  • Contacted — you've reached out (email, call, DM)
  • Interested — they've responded positively
  • Closed — won the deal
  • Not Interested — they passed
  • Do Not Contact — permanent exclusion flag

You can rename these or add your own to fit your exact workflow.

Notes per lead

Click any lead to add a private note. Use this for call outcomes, objections heard, follow-up dates, or anything else you'd put in a CRM. Notes are local to your browser and never shared.

Filtering and sorting

Filter your full list by: - Status (e.g., show only "Interested" leads) - Pain Score range (e.g., 7+) - City or region - Enrichment state (has email / missing email) - Lead temperature (Hot / Warm / Cold)

The Do Not Contact flag

Mark any business as Do Not Contact and they'll be excluded from all future exports and filtered out of active views automatically — even if you re-scrape the same area later.
